All these journals are made of recycled fabric and upcycled paper - it's an easy way to be green and save nature. Some journals are filled with assorted mix paper (white, cream and color papers, lined and blank), so each time you turn a page you have a different combination of papers. It's funny, isn't it? :)

This soft journal is not made by me, but member of my family, who wants to stay anonymous :) He makes such journals of recycled fabric and assorted paper (white, cream, lined paper, vintage maps, pages from sheduler and others). The paper is hand torn and carefully sewn with strong thread.

He likes book buinding, but doesn't speak English. So I promised him to list his journals to my shop on Etsy. This journal "Blue Denim Jeans" is listed first, measures 11 x 15.5 cm (4.3 x 6.1 inches). It contains 120 sheets (240 pages).

New journals and notebooks are coming soon. Stay tuned! :)

These cute barefoot sandals or nude shoes are made to order. It was first time to me to crochet so lovely and unusual item. I crocheted a big flower size 7.5 cm (about 3"), embellished with a little yellow 5-petal crocheted daisy and acrylic Lucite flower in centre. Ties are 65 cm (25.5") long.

Now I want to live in sunny country near the warm sea, there is always summer :)

Art deco inspired lace earrings. I think that lace and freshwater pearls are great partners. It's easy to do yourself :) I used lace, freshwater pearls, textile glue, earwires and some findings (chain, pins, jump rings, filigree bases).

First step: cut out lace motifs you like. Then spread the back side and edges with fabric glue. Keep pieces flat until glue is dry. Gluing makes lace motifs more durable and less fragile.
Second step: attach earwires using round nose pliers. You can embellish earrings with beads, chains, charms as you like.

Textile glue must be transparent. If you have not textile glue, you can use white glue (PVA): mix 1 part of water to 1 part of glue (proportion 1:1), spread this mix to lace motifs and let dry.

I bought 10 strands of freshwater pearls from the shop 8Seasons. Now I have a lot of work to use all of them. This design I named "Mermaid's Collar", the necklace is made in herringbone and coraling technique. I've added shell spikes for more satin shimmering. Tiny golden daisy beads add more sparkling.

Gold plated S-clasp is easy to use.

The set have a new home. It was made for Marina from Suvor-off.com. Sterling silver clips with beautiful shiny freshwater pearls are comfortable for sensitive ears. They measure about 1.5 cm (0.6") long. And this amazing necklace is very-very long. There are 189 beautiful big freshwater pearls in the necklace. Pearl size is 8 mm (0.32") and the necklace measures about 160 cm (63") long. It's really long.

Used real freshwater pearls and blue zircon rondelles.

All pearls are knotted, there is a knot in between each and every pearl. That knot does a couply great things: It keeps the pearls separated slightly so they don't rub against each other and break off the outer shell. The knot also keeps your pearls safe in case you accidentally break the necklace. If the strand breaks, only one pearl falls off the strand, instead of 188 pearls rolling all over the floor!

These are my best recipes :) They look ugly, I know. One day I tried to write them over to a notebook. But using the notebook is not convenient for me in a kitchen. So I searched the Google and downloaded these cute recipe cards:

I love them very much. It's easy to put the card on a refrigerator's door with a small magnet and prepare some tasty dish.

These beadwoven flowers measure 2.5 cm (1"), I have used Czech firepolished beads, gold galvanized Toho seed beads and Swarovski crystal pearls. The earring wires are vermeil gold (24K gold plating over sterling silver - great for the sensitive ears).

The simple necklace is beaded using Czech red color beads, which have square silver lined holes and sparkle beautifully.

I'm inlove with these lustre white freshwater pearls. I have added rondelles with sparkling zircones in sapphire blue, amethyst lilac and peridot green color. So earrings look perfect to wear for any occasion. Earrings measure only 3 cm (1.18") long, dangle from sterling silver earwires.

I would love to share new shop on Etsy: EuropeForCharity

This shop contains items donated by artists and crafters from the European Street Team on Etsy for humanitarian relief. Right now Pakistan is fighting with a such crisis. All the money that is collected this time will go to the flood victims in Pakistan.

The person behind the shop is Baa from Baahar. She managed to set up the shop and reach a lot of people to be donor. There are more than 100 items in the shop with a few days. There is magnificent choice of various items in the shop and not only that: you're helping out the Pakistani by buying from the shop!

Thank you Baa for this necessary project!

When I get a package with ordered glass beads from Helmetuba, there was a little surprise - two lovely connectors in antique gold. My mom liked them very much. So I have executed her wish and beadweaved these earrings. Used czech faceted glass beads, Toho seed beads and vermeil gold earwires.

Miami Platja in Spain

My dear sister and her husband left Estonia. Forever. Two weeks ago they went to Spain. They were traveling by car 2500 miles (4000 kilometres)! They found a very beautiful town in Spain - Miami Platja, rented an apartment and today is 2nd day they live there.

Sometimes I'm thinking about packaging: how to package the jewelry that is safety, unbroken and beautiful on a shipping. I love the square boxes, but sometimes they are a little bit expensive for any 10 dollars earrings. So I pack some inexpensive item in a gift organza bag or made a pillow box, hang a tag, attach my business card and wrap all of them into bubble bag. This package I put into a bubble mailer envelope. I think this way is most safety for any jewelry :)

green and silver necklace

This summer green color necklace is a custom work. My customer wished that necklace should contain 30 malachite green beads. I have added some emerald green Swarovski beads and Toho seed beads (galvanised silver and emerald green). The necklcae is 45 cm long + 4 cm extension chain. I love the combination of cold and warm shades of green.

crocheted doilies as coasters

Some of little doilies look like lacy pancakes :) I have crocheted them using white 100% cotton yarn. Pattern is available for free on my favorite web: MyPicot.com. I have modified last two rows a little bit. So this doily measures about 13 cm (5").

The crocheted doily can be used as a coaster or a jam-jar cover. It's pretty, isn't it?

This one measures 10 cm (about 4"), used the same 100% cotton yarn. I think that coasters can be multi-colored, so joyfully change the look on any kitchen.

This is a new heading with the name Great Finds in my blog. I hope to update it monthly. And first items are coasters. Just tiny and cute pieces in houseware. These can be crocheted, sewed, made of paper and wood. I think the coasters will add a little celebratory spirit. I'm very inspired with and have started crochet some coasters for my home.

There was an old crocheted cover for a pillow, I crocheted it at school many times ago. It was very big one, about 60x60 cm. Unuseable. But Mum has diplomatically told me that the crocheted cover is beautiful and I get the "A" in a school. I renewed the cover to the doily, just attached a red lace around. I think the new item is more practical.

Dancing Fan Earrings

Cute small earrings measure aprox. 2.5 cm (about 1") including ear wire. I used golden and transparent seed beads, czech drop beads and vermeil gold findings. Design by Gwen Fisher.

Instead of drop beads I wished to use tourmaline rondelles. Unfortunately rondelles had very small hole. I tried to use a thin needle size 15, but unsuccessfully. I don't know what to do with these tourmaline rondelles now..

I love to read books, so I love to create bookmarks too. These cute pieces are simple beautiful on a bookshelf.

If you are not romantic, look at this spider. Awful! You can be assured that nobody takes the book you are reading :)

The using of the bookmark is simple - just slide the long metal part between the pages and let the beaded portion dangle down the back spine of the book.

Do you remember I have won "Unloved" handmade journal? This journal is so very cute! So I decided to send the little "thank you gift" to Renate (Kreativlink). She was very surprised! :D (read about the surprise in her blog). Renate has scolded me a little, but I consider that gifts are similar so nobody should bear a grudge :)

The second one table runner I have send to my lovely granny. She has learnt me to crochet, knit, embroider and others handmade. Details and lace pattern of this table runner are available on my Ravelry.

We have found a great baking pan in our old barn. It is for making these tasty cookies, what look like walnuts. Inside of cookies are condensed milk with nuts. Yum-yummi!

Today is fantastic Monday's day! I have won this lovely handmade journal from Renate - Kreativling. I can't believe it! Renate named this journal "Unloved", because nobody wanted it. I really don't know why. Look! It is beautiful, unique, handmade item!

I have never won something before in my life. Many thanks for Renate, you did my day today :) I will use this journal for my beadwork scetches. I love it so much and can't wait its arrival.

Sometimes I like to crochet. This summer kids cap I crocheted for my little son. He wants to have fashion accessories too :) Used turquoise and white color 100% cotton thread and crochet hook size 1.25 mm.
