garnet earrings

Finished a custom work. These earrings with garnet beads are made as set to this garnet bracelet. A pattern of earrings a saw in B&B 8-2008 issue, but there were needed six different kinds of seed beads. I used only four + garnet beads.

It was an old garnet necklace (I have forgotten to make a photo. Thought it would be interest for looking "before" and "after" photos). The customer has wished to make a wide bracelet with a toggle clasp. The garnet beads are different size, so I added a little seed beads and made it in right-angle weave.

bookmarks

That was the bookmark for Valentine's day. A huge glass heart and the beaded bead in red and golden colors.

The spring and Mother's day are coming soon. I made some bookmarks more and sold them in the same day as they were done.

Yesterday was very cold and blizzard. Some hungry animals have come to our garden. There under snow they have found last year's apples and ate them. Also they ate branches of apple-trees and cherries. That wasn't good, but roe deers were so hungry..

crocheted headbands

The spring is in the air. Wanted a shining sun and summer colours. I crocheted a pair of headbands. One of them is embellished with butterfly

 and other has two white flowers:

Used 100% cotton yarn, lacy headband is 36 cm in length and 3 cm wide, crocheted ties are ca 27 cm long.

baltic amber bracelet

Natural Baltic Amber is very sunny stone, it's warm and has lovely caramel color. I sewed amber chips to base woven in herringbone stitch using Toho seed beads 8/o. There are added a little bit of czech firepolished glass beads for more sparkling effect. The toggle and loop are woven using Toho 11/o and 15/o.
