paint by number kit "Flamingo" 3
Finally, the picture is ready. I've been painting this for 3 weeks and I'm very satisfied with the result. Do I want to paint some pictures more? Oh no, not soon yet :) Look at this animated progress:
What I learned - the painting kit is a good stress reliever :)

paint by number kit "Flamingo" 2
The flamingo in progress. Last week and now one:
I imagine how beautiful it will come out. The challenge is really hard for me to paint all these tiny areas. However, the picture is for a medium level. Paint a little more and I will get the ready picture :)

paint by number kit "Flamingo"
Really, I like to draw, but I'm not good enough. Someday I saw a great opportunity to make my own art - the kits Paint By Number. The kit contains all you need: canvas with numbers, paints, and brushes. It was hard to make a choice. Finally, I've bought a pink flamingo with a crown. The size is 40x50 cm (approximately 16"x20"). That's a pretty good challenge, look at these small areas:
As the producer says, it may take about 2-4 weeks to paint such a picture. A nice start has done:
Did you ever paint by the numbers? How it was?

vacation in Bulgaria
This summer I was on vacation in Bulgaria with my colleague. It is great place to get much of the sun, to swim in the sea, enjoy a tour to the Stone Desert, to see beautiful magnolias. We have got relax massages, walked in the evenings and enjoyed live music. I recommend the Golden Sands beach to visit :)

knitting blanket
It was my son's birthday. I've planned to inflate a lot of colorful balloons, bake a cake and make a party. Instead, I had appendicitis and I was taken to a hospital. We made the party later, but for now, I knit a blanket in the company of my cat.

we were in London
This summer I was the first time in London! The city of my dream. It looks beautiful, compact and full of friendly people. A lot of flowers, clean streets, narrow houses.
The traffic is strange for me, all the cars, motorcycles, bikes are moving on the left side of the road. Unusual and strange.
We visited the Historical Museum. I was amazed by many huge dinosaurs. Look at this one - about 20 meters long from nose to end of a tail! Here is a bigger dinosaur too, about 100 meters long! I recommend to visit the museum and look.
The London Eye - of course, we admired the view of the city from the capsule of the huge wheel. Greenwich, London See Life, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Tower Bridge... all these attractions must see :)

healthy and tasty granola recipe
Homemade granola is so easy to make yourself, and it tastes so much better than store bought. I prefer making my own granola so that I can control exactly how it tastes. I love lots of nuts and seeds, and I use honey instead of sugar.
Ingredients:
1 cup rolled oats (not steel cut or quick cooking)
2 cups raw nuts, chopped (eg. almonds, pecans, walnuts, hazelnuts, peanuts)
1 cup raw seeds (sunflower and pumpkin seeds are great)
1 tbsp your favorite spice (eg. cinnamon, pumpkin spice, gingerbread mix)
1 pinch salt
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup melted butter or coconut oil
Preheat the oven 140C/280F. Line a large baking tray with baking paper. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Spread on baking tray and bake until golden, approximately 30-40 minutes, stir every 10 minutes. Cool completely. Store in an airtight container or a jar for up to 2 weeks.
We eat our granola on Greek yogurt, with milk like cereal, and just plain for a quick snack.
