bead crochet necklace - blue snake

Long time I didn't crochet with beads. One day I scrolled Instagram and saw beautiful necklaces and bracelets in bead crochet technique. That what I want to do next!

This pretty necklace is made of the pattern "Blue Snake" by talented artist Sofia Vasileva, which I bought in her Etsy shop. I like how it turned out. I used czech seed beads instead delica. There are colors like deep blue, metallic gold and silver, brass, crystal clear with light blue inside.

The necklace is 20.5" (52 cm) long and about 1/3" (9 mm) thick. The photo is not so good, how beautiful the necklace is in real life. I'm really happy with it.
How it looked in the start on the next picture - crochet hook size 12/6 and bead thread size B.

Thank you Sofia for your inspiration! I'm ready to crochet a new necklace and bracelet :)

Peyote stitch beaded bracelet cuff Camouflage

I've revised and updated the peyote stitch pattern 'Camouflage'. This cuff I made for my teen son. It's 2 drop peyote stitch technique, an easier and quicker version.

The pattern is listed on my Etsy shop Lariata.etsy.com and available here: Camouflage.

peyote stitch alphabet letters A-Z pattern

These personalized bracelets I made for nieces. Used Nymo thread and size 11 Toho beads. The girls liked their gifts.

... and put the bracelets on hands.

I designed a new peyote stitch pattern of letters from A - Z and tested it. Here is another bracelet in progress:

Used size 11 Delica beads. I prefer Delica beads because all beads are in one size and perfectly fit each other.

The alphabet letters from A - Z pattern is available in my Etsy shop: Lariata.etsy.com. It is easy to create personalized bracelets. Just arrange the letters in this pattern to create the word or phrase of your choice.

The PDF file includes all letters from A - Z, a large numbered color graph of pattern, and blank peyote stitch graph pages for arranging letters for your customized project. There are both, even-count and odd-count options.

Tropical theme - peyote stitch patterns

I'm continuing with the tropical theme - I like tropical fruits and flowers so much! The fruits look such juicy and bright...

... and the tropical plants are especially decorative. Check these both peyote stitch patterns and even more in my Etsy shop here: Lariata.etsy.com

paint by number kit "Flamingo" 2

The flamingo in progress. Last week and now one:

I imagine how beautiful it will come out. The challenge is really hard for me to paint all these tiny areas. However, the picture is for a medium level. Paint a little more and I will get the ready picture :)

paint by number kit "Flamingo"

Really, I like to draw, but I'm not good enough. Someday I saw a great opportunity to make my own art - the kits Paint By Number. The kit contains all you need: canvas with numbers, paints, and brushes. It was hard to make a choice. Finally, I've bought a pink flamingo with a crown. The size is 40x50 cm (approximately 16"x20"). That's a pretty good challenge, look at these small areas:

As the producer says, it may take about 2-4 weeks to paint such a picture. A nice start has done:

Did you ever paint by the numbers? How it was?
