bead crochet necklace - blue snake

Long time I didn't crochet with beads. One day I scrolled Instagram and saw beautiful necklaces and bracelets in bead crochet technique. That what I want to do next!

This pretty necklace is made of the pattern "Blue Snake" by talented artist Sofia Vasileva, which I bought in her Etsy shop. I like how it turned out. I used czech seed beads instead delica. There are colors like deep blue, metallic gold and silver, brass, crystal clear with light blue inside.

The necklace is 20.5" (52 cm) long and about 1/3" (9 mm) thick. The photo is not so good, how beautiful the necklace is in real life. I'm really happy with it.
How it looked in the start on the next picture - crochet hook size 12/6 and bead thread size B.

Thank you Sofia for your inspiration! I'm ready to crochet a new necklace and bracelet :)

Visit her Etsy shop JewelryBySVasileva or follow her Instagram @chudesa_na_cruchke.

These cute barefoot sandals or nude shoes are made to order. It was first time to me to crochet so lovely and unusual item. I crocheted a big flower size 7.5 cm (about 3"), embellished with a little yellow 5-petal crocheted daisy and acrylic Lucite flower in centre. Ties are 65 cm (25.5") long.

Now I want to live in sunny country near the warm sea, there is always summer :)

crocheted doilies as coasters

crocheted doilies by Lariata Some of little doilies look like lacy pancakes :) I have crocheted them using white 100% cotton yarn. Pattern is available for free on my favorite web: MyPicot.com. I have modified last two rows a little bit. So this doily measures about 13 cm (5").

crocheted coaster by Lariata The crocheted doily can be used as a coaster or a jam-jar cover. It's pretty, isn't it?

crocheted doily by Lariata This one measures 10 cm (about 4"), used the same 100% cotton yarn. I think that coasters can be multi-colored, so joyfully change the look on any kitchen.

re-used

crocheted doily with vintage crocheted lace
There was an old crocheted cover for a pillow, I crocheted it at school many times ago. It was very big one, about 60x60 cm. Unuseable. But my mom has diplomatically told me that the crocheted cover is beautiful and I get the "A" in a school. I renewed the cover to the doily, just attached a crocheted red lace around. I think the new item is more practical.

natural linen table runner with crocheted flowers and lace

natural linen table runner with crocheted flowers and lace
Do you remember I have won "Unloved" handmade journal? This journal is so very cute! So I decided to send the little "thank you gift" to Renate (Kreativlink). She was very surprised! :D (read about the surprise in her blog). Renate has scolded me a little, but I consider that gifts are similar so nobody should bear a grudge :)

organize your knittings and crochetings

Many thanks to Margit K. :) She has given me a reference to fantastic source: Ravelry.com. It's an ideal place for those who likes to knit or crochet. What there is remarkable? When I something knit, necessarily I do calculations, sketches, I write down the name and a thickness of a yarn, colour number (on a case if the yarn will not suffice), the name of schemes and sources. In the course of work any cunnings are born, which should be written down to take advantage of them in the future. All these notes exist at my house on the torn off leaflets, in any writing-books and on labels from a yarn which are constantly lost. And now I know that there is a useful site and all notes can be stored in one place :)
The personal page on Ravelry shares on tabs: projects (current projects - what you knit, what yarn use, what scheme, how many it is already executed and so forth, + the finished projects), something of warehouse type (it is possible to note available yarns and needles-hooks at your home), plans (what you are going to knit in the future, what date to whom, from what yarn and so forth), library (your personal schemes and books) and much more. Besides it it is possible to talk with other peoples in forums, to be connected to various groups, to exchange experience. All who like to knit or crochet, I invite to join and find me on the great source of Ravelry :)
