This journal was made to order. Used leftover fabric pieces. The cover keep closed with a thread that wraps around a stick shape button. 

The journal is thick and filled with different kinds of paper: color paper, craft paper, brown paper, blank and squared paper, paper that is stained with cofee... 

...and recycled envelopes. There are about 30 different envelopes. So it is possible to keep things inside there.

handmade journals with lace

This time here is not any upcycled materials. These journals are made of cotton fabric, vintage cotton lace and cream/beige paper - all materials are in new condition. The paper is heavy, about 180 gsm - great for writing  with any type of pens, drawing with pencils and crayons, also painting with gouache and watercolors. Every journal opens flat so every inch of paper can be used.

And this one is pretty big! Can be used as a sketchbook, a scrapbook, a photobook, a guestbook.. It's really large, measures approximately 13.5 x 19.5 cm or 5.3 x 7.7 inches. 

Inside 192 pages counted both sides (96 sheets).

All these journals are made of recycled fabric and upcycled paper - it's an easy way to be green and save nature. Some journals are filled with assorted mix paper (white, cream and color papers, lined and blank), so each time you turn a page you have a different combination of papers. It's funny, isn't it? :)

handmade journal/sketchbook "Blue Denim Jeans"

This soft journal is not made by me, but member of my family, who wants to stay anonymous :) He makes such journals of recycled fabric and assorted paper (white, cream, lined paper, vintage maps, pages from sheduler and others). The paper is hand torn and carefully sewn with strong thread.

He likes book buinding, but doesn't speak English. So I promised him to list his journals to my shop on Etsy. This journal "Blue Denim Jeans" is listed first, measures 11 x 15.5 cm (4.3 x 6.1 inches). It contains 120 sheets (240 pages).

cute accessory

These cute barefoot sandals or nude shoes are made to order. It was first time to me to crochet so lovely and unusual item. I crocheted a big flower size 7.5 cm (about 3"), embellished with a little yellow 5-petal crocheted daisy and acrylic Lucite flower in centre. Ties are 65 cm (25.5") long.

Now I want to live in sunny country near the warm sea, there is always summer :)

Just the chocolate cake with a butter cream. Made by this recipe (sorry, russian only). It contains much of almonds, butter and chocolate. Great for those, who doesn't want be slim, but these cakes taste really great :)

elegant swarovski necklace

The necklace is beadwoven in right-angle technique. I used swarovski pearls and bicones, Toho seed beads and gold-filled S-clasp.

My favorite colors - satin shining gold pearls and sparkling red bicones.
